I came to Kristina after my former stylist retired from doing hair. From the moment I came to the salon for a consultation, I knew I found my new stylist! Kristina took the time to listen to my concerns and what I wanted to achieve with my hair. She has taken my hair to a whole new level.
I have become an extension client over the last year. She is truly an artist when it comes to Hand Tied Extensions and hair coloring. She is constantly working on her craft by continuing her education on the newest techniques. She also takes time to research what brands are the very best for your hair’s needs.

Painted Culture Salon was created with the vision of a luxury hair salon that focuses on embracing the natural beauty of women. It all started with my love of Balayage and then it grew into so much more. We specialize in the art of custom hand tied extensions and lived In, effortless hair color. Our goal is for each client to look and feel high end.
Our salon was designed to be a salon that offered the most anticipated services within a high end yet comfortable environment. It is not just an experience that we create for our guests, but it is the feeling of confidence and empowerment that we believe each woman should feel. I firmly believe that we can help women step into a sense of self confidence and empowerment just by a single hair service. This is what sets my soul on fire for the beauty we create for our guests. In our salon, you can truly see the passion and spark of creativity come to life.
Kristina is the owner of Painted Culture and an extension specialist with over 15 years behind the chair. She specializes in hand-tied and keratin tip extensions, known for creating natural, seamless results that support each client’s hair, lifestyle, and long-term hair health.
In addition to extensions, Kristina specializes in dimensional brunettes, soft blondes, and rich red tones — creating color that feels effortless and grows out beautifully.
Outside of the salon, Kristina enjoys CrossFit, spending time with her husband and two daughters, and continuing to grow Painted Culture into a space where women feel confident and effortlessly put together.

With over a decade of experience, Elise specializes in effortless color and timeless, wearable styles. Originally from New York, she believes hair should feel beautiful, natural, and easy to maintain in everyday life. Outside the salon, you’ll find her spending time with her girls or curled up with a good book.
Alexis specializes in effortless, lived-in color and loves helping curly girls embrace and enhance their natural texture. Her approach is all about creating hair that feels beautiful, natural, and unique to you.
Outside the salon, Alexis enjoys spending time with her two fur babies, doing her nails, baking sourdough, and embracing her beach-loving, Disney-girly side.
Emily specializes in blonding and custom color, creating effortless, customized looks that enhance each client’s natural features and lifestyle.
After spending a year assisting our owner and continuing her education, she has developed a strong foundation in both technical excellence and a thoughtful client experience. Emily values detailed consultations, attention to detail, and maintaining the health and integrity of the hair.
Outside of the salon, Emily enjoys exploring Greenville, traveling, and diving into new creative crafts that inspire her work. She looks forward to welcoming guests into her chair and helping them feel confident, polished, and effortlessly beautiful.
